I am still looking to find a roommate/somebody who can give me some floor space and shower for Friday and Saturday. Does anybody need a roommate for a cheap room or can anybody rent some floor space?

I would very much like to see some of those old thingies like clan-specific playmats, pins, shirts etc etc going to new players as an additional prize, something to remind them that they were there along with the big shots.

Okay guys, thanks for the input.

So, as it stands, we are going to plan a Gempukku tournament for new players (will fit it in the schedule as an actual event), and budget for a prize (we will be making custom prizes for the EC, but we are still choosing shape/size/form for them;)). Also, all players that will participate in the event will get a presentation in the award ceremony and a little something.

Any other thoughts/ suggestions, again are welcome.

That sounds like a very cool idea, I think it will entice more of the newer players in as they would normally see the EC as a big challenge and the scale of it, and the knowledge that some of the biggest names in the game will be there, may put them off.
